Honoring Mac's Legacy: Support for Emsley

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sara. My brother, Mac Pullium, was in a serious accident at work earlier this week. Unfortunately, his injuries were severe and he did not make it.

Mac was one of those people who just wanted to help others— in all that he did. To know him was to love him. No matter what, if someone needed help he never hesitated to do his best for them. If he wasn’t working, you could almost always find him on his motorcycle or on the lake fishing.

While his family & friends are going to miss his smiling face and outgoing personality, they’ll get to see it all the time in the one-month old little girl he’s leaving behind. Little Emsley is a bright light in such a horrible situation. Many people have reached out asking how they can help her so I’ve created this to allow for those who wish to donate. All of the money will go to little Emsley and anything that she may need. She will be reminded daily of his love for her— from her mama, her grandparents, aunts & uncles, as well as the countless friends who loved Mac.

While Mac did so much good in his life, and had a heart of gold, his family wants to share the good he also is doing right now and will do everyday moving forward:
Mac was an organ donor— he was always very adamant about that.
They have found recipients for both Mac's heart and lungs. As of right now, he will pass at 6 PM tonight (4/21/24) at UAB in order to facilitate follow-on operations to his recipients. Many of his other organs were matched to those in need already (including to his cousin who loves fishing just as much as Mac did). For those who pray, please pray that those receiving his gifts have successful operations. Pray for the healthcare teams who are going to be making these miracles happen.
It will be such a blessing to know that someone has his heart (it was a wonderful one). To think he is still able to breathe for someone and is still here helping others is huge for his family & friends.
His family is so incredibly proud of him and all the good he did in his life, now he is still doing such great things— saving countless lives and preventing families & friends from hurting like his family & friends are hurting now.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this time.
