Hello, my name is Makeda Williams, and I am humbly asking for support as my family and I grieve the passing of our beloved mother, Kimberly Ann Williams.

On December 30, 2025, after spending what we believed would be joyful and ordinary holiday time together, our mother’s life was taken from us suddenly and without warning. Her passing has left a profound emptiness in our hearts and a level of devastation we were not prepared to face.

Our mother was a woman of unwavering dedication—to her family, her values, and everything she held close. She showed up fully and consistently, no matter the circumstances. Through every health challenge I’ve faced, she stood beside me with strength, love, and encouragement. Because of her belief in me, I am here today. As her only daughter, she was not only my mother, but my best friend and confidant—my constant source of wisdom, comfort, and truth.

With the support raised through this fundraiser, I hope to honor her final wishes and lay her to rest with the dignity, grace, and love she so deeply deserves. As a family, we are doing our best to navigate life without her gentle but firm guidance—something none of us ever imagined having to do so soon.

If there is one thing I do right in this world, let it be this: to honor her memory and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.
