Honoring Kennedy's Life and Legacy with Love:

The sudden loss of Kennedy Columbus has sent a wave of sorrow through our hearts and our community. We all struggle to comprehend the loss of such a young, vibrant woman with the most promising future. It didn’t take long being in Kennedy's presence to realize she had a special way of making everyone around her feel heard and valued. Her kind heart, gentle spirit and personality made every moment in her presence brighter.

Those of us who have known Kennedy from a young age, saw that she had a special intellect and great determination in everything she did. Kennedy’s warmth wasn’t just reserved for family and others in her normal day-to-day life, she was able to sense when someone needed a kind expression and she connected with those around her to offer a kind word or a smile.

In return of all the beautiful gifts Kennedy shared during her lifetime, she was loved deeply and immeasurably by her family, friends and her whole community. This heartbreaking tragedy has shown how deeply she impacted everyone she met. We will honor Kennedy’s memory by living with the same compassion, understanding and kindness that she did. This fund will be used to honor Kennedy’s life and legacy through donations to charities or scholarships in honor of Kennedy, chosen by Kennedy’s family and close friends.
