Honoring Kayla Castro and Supporting Her Two Children

It is with shattered hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Kayla Castro, who was taken from us far too soon on 01/10/2026. Kayla was many things—a sister, a daughter, a friend—but above all, she was a fierce and loving mother to Mila and Brantley.

Because her passing was so sudden and tragic, she did not have life insurance or a financial plan for the future yet as she just started a new career last month and wasn't eligible for her benefits yet. As her community, we want to ensure that her children are taken care of as they face a future without their mom.

We are raising funds to cover:

Funeral and memorial services to give Kayla the goodbye she deserves.

A dedicated fund for the children’s long-term needs and education. Mila & Brantley attend private school and Kayla's been working two jobs to make that happen. Her goal has been to make sure her children are able to attend Serra Catholic High School.
