Honoring Joyce's Loving Legacy

Hi, my name is Jeremiah and I am one of Joyce’s sons. If you’re reading this, chances are you are aware of what has been happening, but if not I'd like to share.

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2021. When we got the news, our family’s world shifted. Since then, it has been a rollercoaster. There were stages of it getting worse, getting better, and even a period of partial remission. In the latter half of 2024, her numbers were getting worse and around Christmas our mom went to the hospital, ICU, and then hospice shortly after. She passed on January 22nd, 2025 while closing her eyes in prayer with her friends and family.

For those who have been there for her throughout her diagnosis (and life), I just want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I have known my mom to be incredibly loving and caring - it is the biggest thing I have looked up to her for as I was growing up. I have seen her help those who haven’t had a home, including those without friends/family during the holidays, and also be a mother to those who didn’t have one. I’d like to say our house was always filled with smiling faces of family, chosen and not. We also want to say thank you to everyone who has also taken the time to support her in her last days. For driving, flying, face timing, and whatever-ing just to show Mom your love and support.

I wanted to open up the door to support my mom and our family if you feel led to do so. We are thankful for any donations that you give.

Why We Asking Your Help

We are raising funds to help cover:

✅ Cemetery & Memorial Costs – Ensuring she has a good place to rest and send her off with a memorial service that celebrates her life.

✅ Hospital Bills – Covering medical expenses from her care.

✅ Legal Fees for Jaxson’s Situation (the youngest of her sons *7 years old*) – Navigating the legal matters that have arisen with her passing.

✅ Supporting Immediate Family – Help support the family who have taken time off work to be and support Joyce during her time in the hospital and hospice.

✅ College Tuition For Jaxson – Support towards Jaxson’s college in mom’s place.
