Honoring Jossias: A Loving Son Lost Too Soon

La mañana del 5 de julio de 2025, mi hijo falleció trágicamente en un terrible accidente de tren. Su nombre es Jossias López. Su muerte no solo fue una tragedia, sino también injusta. La policía a cargo del caso nos obligó a abandonarlo, mientras mi hijo yacía en el calor, sin nada que lo cubriera, como un animal, durante 10 horas después del accidente. Ningún agente nos informó de la situación.

Padecía esquizofrenia y autismo, pero aun así se esforzó por ser una persona amable, cariñosa y aventurera. Me quería muchísimo, siempre contaba los chistes más tontos, y por muy molesta que estuviera, siempre me hacía reír. Mi familia lo ama y lo extrañará profundamente, y nada podrá llenar el vacío que dejó en mi corazón este incidente. Pido a mis amigos y familiares, incluso a desconocidos, que me ayuden a dar el último descanso a su cuerpo y a permitir que mi familia finalmente se sienta en paz con esta terrible tragedia. Todas las donaciones se destinarán directamente a los gastos del funeral.

The morning of July 5th, 2025, my son’s life was tragically taken from us in a terrible train accident. His name is Jossias Lopez. His death was not only a tragedy, but unjust. We were forced to leave him by the police handling the case as my son laid in the heat with nothing covering his body like an animal for 10 hours after the accident. Not a single officer informed us on the situation.

He suffered from schizophrenia and autism, but nonetheless he tried his best to be a kind, loving, adventurous individual. He loved me so dearly, always cracking the dumbest jokes, and no matter how upset I was he always made me laugh. My family loves and will miss him deeply, and nothing can ever fill the hole in my heart that was left from this incident. I ask kindly from friends and family, even strangers, to help me put his body to rest and allow my family to finally feel at peace with this terrible tragedy. All donations will go directly to the costs of the funeral services.
