Honoring the Memory of Jose Bonilla

It is with deepest sadness that we share the passing of our friend, colleague and loved one Jose Bonilla, who was taken in a devastating and tragic workplace accident on October 2.

Jose was above all a proud father of four, a loving and devoted husband, and a beloved brother and son. He was funny, full of life, and incredibly hardworking, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in all our lives.

At Texas Materials, Jose was deeply respected and loved by his peers and truly enjoyed being part of the QC Department. He embraced every opportunity to learn, from lab and plant operations to the field, and his dedication was reflected in the excellence of his work. His placement percentages speak for themselves and remain a legacy of his commitment to his work. Jose took great pride in his contributions and was known for going above and beyond.

He was also deeply proud of his Mexican heritage and of being a Houstonian and Texan, values he carried with him in every aspect of his life.

This GoFundMe has been created by Jose’s work family to support his loved ones during this unimaginable time. All donations will go directly to his wife and children to help ease the financial burden and provide ongoing support for their needs. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated.

Please join us in honoring Jose’s memory by sharing this campaign and leaving messages of love and support. His family will see every note and feel the strength of our community standing beside them.

We are grateful for your kindness, prayers, and generosity during this time of sorrow.
