With profound sadness, our family shares the passing of our beloved mother, Joan Mondellini.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Joan would agree that she was truly an angel on earth. She lived her life with grace, strength, creativity, and resilience, touching countless hearts along the way. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity made everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved.

Joan was an extraordinary choreographer and dance teacher whose passion for the arts inspired generations of students. Through dance, she taught far more than technique—she taught confidence, discipline, self-expression, and joy. Her influence extended far beyond the studio, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.

As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we are also celebrating a life beautifully lived. Her smile, her wisdom, her love, and her unwavering spirit will remain with us forever.

Unfortunately, Joan did not have medical insurance, and the costs associated with her hospitalization and medical care have placed a significant financial burden on our family. We are reaching out to friends, former students, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by Joan to ask for help during this difficult time.

Todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocer a Joan coincidirán en que fue verdaderamente un ángel en la tierra. Vivió su vida con gracia, fortaleza, creatividad y resiliencia, tocando innumerables corazones a su paso. Su calidez, su bondad y su generosidad hacían que cada persona se sintiera vista, valorada y querida.

Joan fue una extraordinaria coreógrafa y maestra de danza cuya pasión por las artes inspiró a generaciones de alumnos. A través de la danza enseñó mucho más que técnica: enseñó confianza, disciplina, expresión personal y alegría. Su influencia trascendió el salón de clases, y su legado continúa vivo en las muchas vidas que transformó.

Lamentablemente, Joan no contaba con seguro médico, y los gastos derivados de su hospitalización y atención médica han representado una carga económica muy importante para nuestra familia. Por ello acudimos a amigos, exalumnos, colegas y a todas las personas cuyas vidas fueron tocadas por Joan para pedir su apoyo en este momento tan difícil.
