Honoring Jerry's Legacy: Help His Family

In Memory of Jerold (Jerry) William Brown

Our nation lost a hero and family man on May 28th, 2024, when Jerold William Brown (53) passed away following a courageous four-year battle with cancer.

The Go Fund Me account will assist Jamie, Sophie and Hudson for medical expenses, a college fund and any other immediate need the family has.

Jerry loved his family more than life and is survived by by his loving wife Jamie, his beloved children Sophia Noel (17) and Hudson Lee (12), his father and stepmother, Gerald and Ginny Brown of Enon, Ohio, and his mother and stepfather, Beverly and Jim Langrell of Sheridan, Arkansas. Also, Jerry is survived by his sisters, Jill Walker of Sheridan, Arkansas and Jackie Yawn of Enon, Ohio, his stepsister Leslie Hicks and her husband Paul of the Villages in Florida, and his stepbrother David McClure. Nieces and nephews, many cousins, Jamie's family and countless friends and colleagues, and their large extended families are left to honor Jerry’s memory.

Jerry was a United States Army Veteran, and he enlisted in the United States Army in 1988 and served his country with distinction until 1991. He was a Veteran of the Gulf War, serving with the 1st Infantry Division in Desert Storm.

While serving the nation, Jerry was awarded the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, the Army Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Lapel Button, the Sharpshooter Medal, the Marksman Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge. We are all indebted to Jerry for his sacrifice and his deeply honorable service to the nation will be long remembered and cherished.
