We are merging two families to support the legacy of James “Skippy” Lemon, Jr. thru his granddaughter Adalina Barbot.
Our hearts are still processing the loss of Skippy—a father, grandfather, and loved one whose life touched so many. In the midst of this tragedy, one thing has become incredibly clear: his legacy must live on through the life of his granddaughter.
This fundraiser is not just about today—it’s about Adaliina's future.
Skippy’s granddaughter now faces life without her father’s presence and with her father currently incarcerated. She deserves stability, opportunity, and the chance to grow up knowing she is covered, supported, and not forgotten.
This fund is being created to support her future, including:
Education and school needs
Clothing, care, and day-to-day support
Future savings to help her build a stable life
Any immediate needs that arise as her family navigates this transition
We recently experienced a powerful moment during the Walk of Honor at the hospital, where Skippy gave the gift of life through organ donation. Even in loss, he gave.
Now we are asking the community to do the same.
This is how we honor him.
Not just with words—but with action.
Not just remembering his name—but investing in what he left behind his granddaughter Adalina.
Every donation, no matter the size, is a seed being planted into this young girl’s future.
If you’re unable to give, please share this fundraiser and keep this family in your prayers.
Thank you for helping us turn grief into legacy.
