This Holiday Season marks the 9th Christmas when we collect gently used coats, jackets, hoodies, shoes, and other winter clothing for homeless youth in San Francisco in honor of my nephew, Jake, who lost his battle with addiction.
Every Christmas, Jake went to SF to hang out with, feed and give jackets to young people, and we have carried on his tradition to honor who he was.
The money that we collect will be used to buy new wool socks, snacks, water, sweat pants and plastic bags to give out along with a warm coat.
Thank you for continuing to support "Jake's Wish," which was that people who are homeless see a smiling face, have a bite to eat and a new warm coat to wear on Christmas Day.
