Honoring Iverson's Memory with Compassionate Aid
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Iverson Mirwoba Michira, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us on September 14th, 2024, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Iverson was the cherished son of Evans Nyagaka Michira and Norah Kemuma Ombogo, and a brother to Melvin Michira. He was also a cousin to John Brown Michira of St. Louis Park.
Iverson’s passing has left an enormous void in the hearts of his family and the community. His body is currently lying at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel in Minneapolis, and the family is planning to hold a memorial service and fundraiser at the Kenyan Community Seventh-day Adventist Church (KCC) on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, from 3 pm to 8 pm. Afterward, his body will be transported to Kenya for burial.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and well-wishers for prayers, financial support, and any assistance to help ease the financial burden of the funeral arrangements and transporting Iverson’s body to Kenya. Your contributions, no matter the size, will go a long way in supporting the Michira family during this difficult time.
We thank you for your generosity and continued support.
The Hopkins School community is shattered. Rest In Peace dear Iverson your light will continue to shine on us all.
