Remembering Heather Vallone…
July 6, 1975 - November 16, 2022
So often, when someone found Apraxia Kids, they also found Heather Vallone. Whether it was through a phone call or an email, or a combination of the two, when you found Heather, you knew you had someone fighting in your corner. Heather spent countless hours talking to our apraxia community, ensuring that they had every bit of information they needed to help them on their apraxia journey. This selflessness, kindness, and dedication to helping others is only the beginning of Heather’s incredible qualities that made her such a wonderful mother, wife, co-worker, sister, daughter, and friend.
Heather Vallone was a difference maker in life, and her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many friends. Heather’s unexpected passing also leaves a hole that will never be filled in the hearts of her husband Chris and her son Dante. A 13-year old child should never have to experience the pain of losing a parent. This GoFundMe is a chance for our apraxia community to give back to the family of someone that has supported us throughout our apraxia journey. Chris and Dante will have numerous expenses over the next several months, and the financial burden of going from two incomes to one income will be high.
Heather touched the lives of so many, and her kindness, love, and support for our community will produce ripples for many years to come.
Heather’s unexpected death created a ripple of sadness in our community, and this is our opportunity to turn that sadness into something meaningful. Your support for Chris and Dante is a wonderful way to lift their spirits and to ease their financial burden. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. God Bless!
