Honoring Greg and Supporting Cheryl
Donation protected
Anyone who has met Greg Crabtree has been impacted by him. Whether he was a coach in youth sports, a mentor to the youth group at church, inspiring inmates during his Kairos weekends, counseling kids at TJ’s Place of Hope who were trying to cope with addictions or life’s challenges, delivering one of his weekly sermons on Sunday or just being an outstanding friend, Greg has been there for so many of us over the years.
Greg has endured many health issues in his lifetime; however, he has dealt with these setbacks in such a positive manner. There were times that he helped us feel better about what he was going through – that takes a special person, and we all know that Greg is one of the best people any of us have ever known.
His brain cancer battle started in 2015 and while he fought and surpassed the expectations of his medical team numerous times, his latest issues have been associated with the kidney transplant he had in 2001. That kidney stopped working and his body has been through so much that his fight is coming to an end. And for all that know Greg, this is something that most of us just cannot fully comprehend.
We have started this Fundraiser to help Cheryl Crabtree who has supported Greg through every illness and setback that he has endured. Her strength throughout Greg’s challenges has been amazing.
Due to the many health issues Greg has had, he was not able to obtain life insurance. In addition, Cheryl has not been able to work much over the past several months, due to the increased care that Greg required. We want to provide financial support to Cheryl to cover funeral costs as well as help her get back on her feet, as she moves forward with this phase of her life.
Thank you in advance for your continued prayers for the Crabtree family!
