Honoring Emmie: Support for the Phelps Family

Donation protected
On December 10th, the world lost a bright and beautiful little girl, 7-year-old Emmie Phelps. From infancy, Emmie lived with a profound neurodevelopmental condition that brought countless challenges — yet her strength, her spirit, and the love she radiated were immeasurable.

Erica and Jimmy Phelps dedicated their lives to giving Emmie the best care possible. They spent years navigating specialists, treatments, therapies, and emergencies — all while pouring every ounce of love, time, and strength into their daughter. They slept in hospital rooms, held her through the hardest moments, and fought every single day to make her feel safe and cherished.

Now, they are living every parent’s worst nightmare: the loss of the one thing truly irreplaceable.

Alongside unimaginable grief, Erica and Jimmy are facing overwhelming financial burdens — thousands of dollars in medical bills, funeral expenses, and the impact of taking significant time away from work to care for Emmie in her final months. No parent should have to shoulder financial stress while navigating heartbreak of this magnitude.

In addition to their own grief, Erica and Jimmy are supporting their entire family, including Emmie’s loving siblings — Ava Marie LaMarche, Alexandra Phelps, Caden LaMarche, and Ava Kellie Phelps — who adored their sister deeply and are now coping with the tremendous pain of losing her. Emmie was the heart of their home, and her absence is felt in every corner.

We are hoping to raise money to help ease the financial weight on the Phelps family as they begin to heal. Your support will help cover:
  • Medical and hospital bills
  • Funeral and memorial expenses
  • Lost income from time taken off work
  • Support for Emmie’s siblings as the family moves through this unimaginable transition

If you’re able, please consider donating. Any amount makes a meaningful difference. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.

Let’s come together as a community to honor Emmie’s memory, support the Phelps family during the darkest moment of their lives, and remind them that they are not alone.

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and prayers for this family.
