My father, Edward Whitaker, passed away unexpectedly a few days ago and our hearts are shattered. Anyone who knew him knows he was the kind of man who would give his last to help someone else. He was loving, funny, hardworking, and full of strength even during the hardest moments of his life.

As his next of kin, my siblings and I are now responsible for handling his final arrangements. Unfortunately, my dad did not have life insurance or savings set aside, and the costs of the funeral, memorial service, and other immediate expenses are more than I can manage alone.
