My dad, Edward Mompeller, passed away recently, and our hearts are broken. He was a good father in his own way, a crazy loving friend, and someone who touched everyone around him with his goofiness, joy, and big heart. He battled his own struggles, but he never let that stop him from loving and mentoring those around him.

He was a pioneer in the mural world and a legend in the graffiti community in LA. His art is unforgettable, and he inspired so many with his creativity, dedication, and fearless spirit. Beyond his art, he was a huge pop locker, someone who could light up a room with his dancing and his energy. He was a mentor to many, a friend to all, and one hell of an artist.
