In an instant, life changed forever.

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the sudden loss of a devoted father, loving partner, son, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his two children, Andrew and Mya, and his loving partner of 14 years, Maddie.

Above all else, Cord loved being a dad. Andrew and Mya were his greatest pride and joy. He was their protector, biggest fan, and constant source of love, guidance, and encouragement. The memories he created with them and the values he instilled will remain with them forever.

Cord was a devoted man of God who was raised in the Christian faith. His relationship with God guided the way he lived his life, and he led with kindness, compassion, generosity, and love for others.

To know Cord was to know someone with a big heart and a passion for life. He loved basketball and was a devoted fan of Kobe Bryant. He enjoyed cheering on the New Orleans Saints, watching sports, playing the drums, listening to music, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends. He loved the camaraderie that sports brought and had a gift for bringing people together.

Cord also took great pride in caring for his family. He worked hard to provide for those he loved and was dedicated to making sure Andrew, Mya, and Maddie always had a safe, stable home and the support they needed. His passing has left not only an immeasurable emotional void but also a significant financial burden as the family faces an uncertain future without the person they relied on every day.

Today, we are asking for support for Andrew and Mya as they face the unimaginable loss of their dad. Donations will help provide stability for the family, ensure their housing remains secure, and help cover counseling and other essential needs as they begin to heal from this heartbreaking loss. Our hope is that Maddie can focus on helping Andrew and Mya grieve without the added burden of financial uncertainty.
