Honoring Christopher Minjarez: Funeral & Family Support Fund

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts as a family to announce the unexpected passing of Christopher Minjarez, whose soul was tragically taken from us in a car accident on February 5, 2025. These past days have been extremely difficult for our family as we mourn and in that process, comfort each other. Those that knew Chris know that he was a father, son, big brother, uncle, best friend, and cousin. Above all, he was a devoted father to his two children, Sebastian and Isabella. His greatest joy was being their Dad, and we want to ensure they have the support they need as they navigate this painful loss.

Chris was the steady and constant light in everyone's life. His presence was never in one place, he reached out to everyone, making sure no one in our family was forgotten. Chris always found a way to brighten every space he was in through his kindness and his humor. While we know we have a difficult road ahead, in the wake of his loss, our family looks toward the light. It is a reminder that Chris's light radiates through us and that in his honor we continue to carry that.

This loss has been devastating, and our family is facing significant emotional and financial challenges. In addition to covering the funeral expenses, we are also seeking support for Chris’s son Sebastian, who was involved in the same tragic incident and is currently recovering. The funds raised will go towards funeral costs, providing relief for the family, and helping to cover medical expenses and other needs related to his son’s recovery. These funds will allow us to focus on healing and ensure that his children are supported during this incredibly difficult time.
