Honoring Cara Fisher Daniels' Legacy

We are writing to share the story of a truly incredible woman, Cara, who has been bravely facing an incredibly tough journey with incurable brain cancer. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, Cara has shown nothing but unwavering courage and resilience at every step. Unfortunately, her condition recently worsened, and she passed away the morning August 7th. We are now in a position where we need to plan for the future—a future that Cara wanted to secure for her beloved children, Owen and Alaina.

Cara is SUNSHINE to all who know and love her, always seeing the good in people, and bringing light and positivity to any situation with her smile and helpful attitude. She has spent her adult life being a caregiver to children. After receiving a degree in Early Childhood Education, she was a beloved instructional assistant who taught and cared for children with special needs. Cara continued to work during her illness, giving inspiration and love to her co-workers and students. The supportive work atmosphere she loved was a healing therapy for her, important as much as the medications she took to treat her cancer.

Cara's journey has not only been emotionally taxing but financially daunting as well. We are reaching out to ask for your support to help cover end-of-life expenses so that we can honor her journey with the love and dignity she deserves. Additionally, funds will be dedicated to supporting Owen and Alaina's future educational endeavors. Cara wishes nothing more than to ensure their well-being and to provide them with opportunities, even in her absence.
