It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my beloved grandpa, Buddy (Laverne) Helling. He was the heart of our family—kind, hardworking, and always putting others before himself. His loss has left us grieving deeply, and we are now facing unexpected financial challenge during an already painful time.

Unfortunately, our family is struggling to afford the cost of his burial and funeral services. We want to give him the respectful, dignified farewell he deserves.

In addition, his passing has left his wife, Lupe, with less income. She is now facing the challenge of paying household bills on her own. Our goal is to help her stay in the house my grandpa worked so hard to build. It is a space everyone has always been welcome to, and it means so much to the entire family.

We are asking for help—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—to ease the financial strain during this heartbreaking time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward funeral and burial costs and helping Lupe stay in her home and cover essential living expenses.
