Aaron and I were so excited to bring in the new year 2025 as parents.

We did not know that on Dec 29th 2024 I would become unwell with preeclampsia. We were informed that there was a big possibility I would give birth soon and at the time I was only 24 weeks pregnant.

On Jan 7 I gave birth to two beautiful preemie babies at 25 weeks and 3 days Andre McDonald and Amani McDonald.

Andre and Amani both have the spiciest personalities for babies. With their facial expressions and reaching out to grab your finger during diaper changes they lit up the room.

We were told about the challenges that micro preemies can experience. Amani continued to advance, with being off her ventilator within a week of birth.

Unfortunately our son Andre had a difficult time advancing.

With all the blood draws, X-rays and tests he still remained a little fighter.

Gave the biggest finger hugs and looked us in our eyes and you can tell he was saying mommy and daddy I’m trying.

We were made aware of a medical issue that required Andre to have two surgeries on 1/27 &1/28. Surgeries were successful but it seems that the prior infection took over our baby boys body.

We are devastated to share that our precious baby boy Andre McDonald made his way to Heaven on January 29th.

I made this go fund me to help with Andre’s funeral arrangements , and to help Aaron and I while we take some time off from work.

Doesn’t matter the amount whatever anyone can donate we greatly appreciate it.

Please continue to keep myself( Brandie), Aaron and our daughter Amani uplifted in your prayers.

She still has a long journey to go.
