As you may know, we lost my baby sister Amoni Lachelle Sunday morning. For the past two years, our family was trying to understand what was happening to her—watching her struggle, knowing something wasn’t right, and searching for answers. In May of this year, she was finally diagnosed with lupus. Since then, life has been a revolving door of hospital visits, treatments, and uncertainty. She hadn’t been herself for a long time, and we were all holding on to hope that things would get better. She fought so hard. She was strong even when her body was tired. Losing her feels unreal, painful, and far too soon.

Now, as we try to navigate this unimaginable loss, we are faced with the reality of funeral costs and medical bills that have added to our heartbreak. We want to honor Amoni’s life and the love she gave so freely, but we need help to do so.
