It's all about our wonderful community remembering its deceased veterans - this is what American Legion Post 188 and America does; this is what residents of High Bridge and Hunterdon County do.

This holiday season, the Herbert Cawley American Legion Post 188 of High Bridge is leading a community effort to decorate graves and remember our deceased veterans with fresh balsam Christmas wreaths. As in previous years, this loving veteran's tribute will be assisted by Scout Troops 149 and is in partnership with Wreaths Across America at local cemeteries near High Bridge.

To help fund this powerfully touching mission honoring U.S. veterans from as far back as the American Revolution, we are asking for your help with a $20 wreath sponsorship. However, any amount is greatly appreciated as we honor all veterans who selflessly served America protecting the freedoms we enjoy today.

All are invited to place wreaths at gravesites during Wreaths Across America Day, December 13, 2025. Watch the Herbert Cawley American Legion Post 188 Facebook page for details: https://www.facebook.com/groups/herbertcawleypost188

Participation in the Wreaths Across America program is part of the Herbert Cawley American Legion Post 188 ongoing mission of veteran outreach, community education, and student sponsorships. Thank you for your gracious and generous donation.
