Honor Todd Cleaves: Aid a Hero in Need
Donation protected
Todd Cleaves is the bravest man I know. He is a disabled veteran who puts everyone else's needs before his own. He is a postal worker who has helped many people in his career at work and outside of work. His latest attempt to help someone in need has had a very adverse effect. His attempt to save his friend's life at work was only partially successful. He was able to resuscitate his friend, but his friend never regained consciousness. His friend was able to save at least four people before being taken off life support. Todd suffers from severe PTSD after that event. Todd also had a heart attack in 2021, advanced stage 3 prostate cancer in 2022, which he is still fighting, and now he suffers from debilitating back pain from several ruptured discs in his back. Yet he works every day, puts on a smile, and makes jokes that mask his pain. Not many know the pain he endures daily.
My wish is to be able to pay off his medical bills and eventually pay off the house that he built for his family, which includes his father, who is also a disabled veteran. Someday, maybe Todd will be able to spend the time he has left, without worrying about his family losing their home. For Veterans Day, let us honor a military veteran who is very deserving and in need of support that he will never ask for. So I will ask..
