Honor Shelby: Scholarship for GRC Seniors

This year will be our 3rd annual scholarship given out in Shelby’s honor. Shelby passed away unexpectedly in 2021, six months after graduating. She had so many hopes and dreams that she did not get to accomplish. We decided to start a scholarship fund in Shelby’s name in partnership with Forest Grove Christian Church. We awarded a $1500 scholarship the first year and $2000 the second year. We choose a graduating senior from GRC. Everyone that knows Shelby, knows she loved helping and taking care of people. She volunteered at Forest Grove Christian Church youth group, where she cooked meals for the kids every Wednesday night and Sunday mornings. We want to help someone accomplish their dreams by going to college in Shelby’s honor.
