My name I Kim and I am a Dixon community member that wants to recognize another member. I am trying to raise funds to get a bench donated with a plaque for Scotty. He has been standing at the crosswalk on 1st and W. C St for years. Even when I was a kid, keeping our children safe. Please help me honor him by donating money for a bench in his name. I know that he sits on the planter box because it is higher and more comfortable for him. This bench will honor his dedication and devotion to our community. It will honor his name and be located in the park close to where he is every morning.

Update: I did a site visit and am looking at a bench similar to one in Northwest Park by the basket ball court. We have raised $2800 minus the fees, so around $2700ish. I will let everyone know as we go. We are looking to replace an existing bench with his tribute bench in The Women's Improvment Park.
