Honoring the memory of Roberta Lulov.
A Memorial Tree in Steppingstone Park which includes a plaque, and Temple Donation - The Great Neck Community and Beyond were shocked and deeply saddened by the untimely passing of my special friend Roberta Lulov.
Roberta was a vibrant and a loving member of our community leaving behind her daughter Nicole, her brother Jeffrey, her six cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Roberta lost her son Ricky a few months before her passing.
Roberta touched countless lives throughout her time with us. She made lifelong friends through work and at Temple Beth-El, where she served as past sisterhood president and chair of the baking committee. Her generosity, warmth and sense of humor would just a few of her qualities that made her so special to everyone who knew her.
Roberta had a deep love for music and was a regular attendee at concerts in Steppingstone Park and Fire Fighters Park near her home. She was always in the front row surrounded by her friends and family, soaking up the joy of live performances. To honor her memory, a few of us have decided to raise funds for a Memorial Tree to be planted in Steppingstone Park were Roberta spent many happy hours enjoying the music she loved. The tree will feature an engraved plaque with words In Memory of Roberta Lulov who cherished the musical performances in Great Neck's beautiful parks, donated by her family and friends on______ 2025. The plaque shall have musical notes on it. The cost of a tree is $1,200 plus a small fee to go to GoFundMe, we will also make a donation to Temple Beth - El. If we have enough funds there is a possibility that we may purchase a second tree to be planted in Firefighter's Park. Let's come together to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who gave so much to others and left an indelible mark in our community.
