Help Veronica Save Nana’s Legacy & Escape Abuse for a Life of Peace

The Story:

My name is Veronica, and I am fighting for my life, my health, and the home my Nana worked so hard to keep. For years, she cleaned houses to provide for her children and hold onto this property. Now that she has gone to be with the Lord, my mother’s health issues are forcing the sale of the home. This house is the heart of our family—it represents the stability and love Nana poured into all of us.

My strength is greater than my struggle, but right now, the struggle is heavy.

I am currently in a position no one should have to face. Shelter beds in my area have been unavailable for a very long time and other States as well , and with the freezing cold and the chronic pain of Fibromyalgia, my body simply cannot survive being homeless on the streets. Because of this, I have had to return to an abusive husband and an unsafe environment just to have a roof over my head.

I am not asking for a handout; I am asking for a caring hand to help me launch back onto my feet. The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. "It takes you to make hope possible."

My goal is to secure a reliable truck so I can safely travel from Washington State to California to claim my future. I cannot leave my "furry daughter" behind—she is my emotional support buddy and my constant companion, but she isn't welcome in most shelters. Having a reliable vehicle means we stay together and stay safe.

My ultimate dream is to pay for the real estate of Nana’s house in cash. By securing this home, I will have a permanent safe haven where I can manage my health, grow my professional baking skills, and never have to return to an abusive environment again. This is about reclaiming my story and building a future defined by safety and peace.

Lord, You see the years of hardship, the pain of the cold, and the fear caused by her husband. I ask that You immediately open a door for a safe, warm, and secure shelter for her—a place where she can rest her body and heal from the pain of fibromyalgia.

Lord, bring her to a place free from drugs and predators, where she can find quiet and safety. We ask for a breakthrough in her housing situation and that You connect her with the right people who will treat her with kindness, not criticism. Please guide her steps to the correct resources for her divorce, enabling her to file for a waiver and finally be free.

Father, protect her and give her strength to endure this final stretch. We thank You in advance for the new, peaceful life, the permanent apartment, and the future You have planned for her. Let this be her season of rescue and a new beginning. In Jesus' name, Amen." This Brave Woman is ME!
