Lawrence T. Pleau Jr,
The time has come to lay our beloved Larry Pleau to rest. He was called to heaven, November 29th, shortly after 11 pm. Our families hearts are filled with sadness and tears but our memories are filled with smiles and laughter of all the good times we shared over the years with Larry. He was a force of nature. He was unstoppable and unforgettable. He was full of love and compassion. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. An amazing soul to have been able to know. He provided so many individuals with laughter, smiles, and positivity. He was compassionate and supportive when it came to organ donation and transplants. He advocated the importance and his gratitude regarding the topic. Not only was Larry a recipient of a heart transplant but he also received a kidney transplant. He survived 38 years with his heart and 20 years with his kidney. He enjoyed spending all his time surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Despite losing his strength over the years he would always find ways to remain busy and provide others with a lending hand. He was known for his quick remarks or jokes that would never seize to make someone laugh. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly towards helping cover Larry’s extended rehab stay not covered by insurance, ambulance services billed after copay, and all funeral expenses. Additionally, proceeds will help his family and wife Cheryl with any other financial costs. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this Go Fund Me with others would mean the world to us. Thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time. It was Larry’s wish to not have a showing. He will receive a proper burial based upon his wishes. Thank you again REST IN PEACE TO AN AMAZING MAN. We will always love you –
