Help Us Rename SWCC's Gym to Honor Kevin Ward!

This go fund me is to honor the life of Kevin David Ward. The funds raised here will go toward

renaming the weight room located in the King Community Center on the campus of Southwest Virginia

Community College. The proposed new name is Kevin Ward Fitness Center.

Funds will be solely used for maintaining current equipment and the purchase of new

equipment. Funds will also help purchase a plaque with Kevin’s photo and accomplishments that will be

placed inside the gym.

This gym meant the world to Kevin. He frequently talked about all the memories he shared

there. Kevin spent many days in this gym – from lifting with his crew back in the day, to working and

training others, to the last days his health allowed him to visit.

If you would like to donate, any amount is greatly appreciated. We can’t think of a better way to

honor Kevin, or let his memory live on, than to take care of the place he cared for so much.

Kevin's impact on the community is untouched by anyone else, and we know this would be the best way to honor his legacy. We can't do this without your help so let's make it happen for Wardy!
