A Tragic Loss for a Military Family — Please Help If You Can
Our dear friend Crystal, a devoted mother of five and resident of White Cloud, Michigan, recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Her husband, Jesse, her high school sweetheart and a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq after 9/11, lost his long battle with PTSD. On may 23rd, 2025 while Crystal was at work, he died on the land in the woods that he loved so much.
Despite multiple attempts to seek treatment and support, the weight of trauma proved too great. He was a kind and loving father, husband, and friend who served his country with honor—but like so many veterans, he came home with invisible wounds that never fully healed.
Now, Crystal is left to care for their five children, between ages 10 to 20, while navigating grief, trauma, and financial uncertainty. With the sudden loss of income, she urgently needs help covering essential expenses—house payments, car payments, and daily necessities for the kids.
We’re asking our community to come together to support this incredible woman and her family during this heartbreaking time. Every donation—no matter the amount—helps lighten the load and reminds her that she is not alone.
Please donate if you can, and share this campaign widely. Thank you for honoring a veteran’s memory by caring for the family he loved most.
With deepest gratitude,
