Honor Jeannie's Wish: Fence for Ron and Poppy

Hi! My name is Rachel Conwell. My amazing friend Jeannie Reffett passed away in June 2024 after a battle with cancer. Jeannie was so amazingly generous anytime any human or animal needed anything. I remember anytime I'd raise funds to help an animal or someone, she would be one of the first to give. Jeannie and Ron adopted one of my first foster dogs, Mimi. Mimi passed and they rescued Poppy Sue. Before Jeannie passed, one of the things she really wanted to do was to put up a fence for Ron and Poppy so that Poppy could have a safe yard and Ron could let her out with ease as well. We did not get this done before Jeannie went to heaven, but in honor of her, I spoke to Ron and asked if we could do this for he and Poppy.

So, the dream/hope becomes a reality. We are building a fence this October (with help from volunteers) but we need to raise the funds for the fence materials. We priced it out and with the small fee GoFundMe takes, we set it at $3,100. I will absolutely be sharing receipts and pictures here over the next few weeks as we complete this project of love for Jeannie, Ron, and Poppy.
