Honor Jamari's Memory: Support His Loved Ones

Our family is heartbroken to share the tragic loss of our beloved Jamari, whose life was tragically cut short on April 9, 2025, due to gun violence. There are no words that can fully capture the pain that we are feeling. He was our light, our joy, and someone who meant everything to so many people.

Although Jamari was only 20 years old, he had big dreams, a contagious laugh, and a heart that loved deeply. Whether it was his unwavering loyalty to family or the way he showed up for friends, he left an imprint on everyone he encountered. Instead of planning for his future, we are planning a funeral—a reality no family should have to face.

Many have asked how to assist/support our family during this trying time. If you would like to donate, please know that all funds will be used to support his infant son as well as for any unexpected expenses. If you cannot donate, sharing this and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers is just as meaningful.

We will never stop saying Jamari’s name. We will not stop fighting for peace, justice, and putting an end to the violence that stole his beautiful life. With God’s grace, we will make it through this pain and keep his legacy alive.
