Gloria's family is launching a fundraiser for help in keeping the home care team for Gloria so she can continue to live in her NYC apartment.

At 98 years old, Gloria is a founding member of Spiderwoman Theater and one of the matriarchs of Indigenous theater. She has supported bringing Indigenous women's voices to the stage, as a performer and teacher for over 50 years. Now she needs your help.

We wish to honor her and keep her in her much-loved apartment filled with her memorabilia and family memories. She has decreased mobility and diminished strength requiring 16 hours of home care a day. Gloria has built close relationships with a wonderful group of health care aides who support her and make her feel safe. We want to support the care of our super elder who is still creative and curious about the world. All of you can help us do that. Thank you!
