Honor Emerson and Josie with a Little Free Library
Donation protected
Join us in starting a Little Free Library in our daughters’ memory! Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that creates library boxes for the community to “Take a book, share a book.” The Cumming City Center has enthusiastically agree to be the site for our library! We hope this project can be a vessel for Emerson and Josie to inspire other families to read and connect. As anyone who knows us knows, we love any tangible way to love and remember our girls. I look forward to the day Noah asks to go to his sisters’ library for a new book.
The cost of the library and plaque is just under $450 after shipping. Dewayne will assemble the library and I will paint it. We will then work with the City Center to install it. It is difficult to estimate the cost of paint and installation supplies, however I hope $100 should cover it!
Any money leftover after our library is up and running will be donated to The Allo Hope Foundation, a nonprofit we talk about often because they have been instrumental to our family since Josie’s loss and helped to save Noah’s life.
We are also accepting book donations to stock our library! While we hope to have kids books, we also welcome books for readers of all ages. If you would like to donate a book, please contact me through gofundme or my cell/email.
Thank you so much for honoring our girls with us! I will post updates to my social media as we go.
