If you know Dan Krotzer, you know that his heart is as big as his smoker.

For the past four years, Dan has poured his time, energy, and love into creating unforgettable game-day experiences for the Idaho Vandals football family. Rain or shine, he’s there — hauling his Blackstone, smoker, firepit, and pop-up shelters — making sure everyone has food, warmth, and a place to gather. He cooks for 20–30 people every game, making sure everyone has tickets, a plate full of delicious food, and a smile on their face.

Dan never asks for anything in return. His joy comes from bringing people together and making others feel cared for.

Now, as his son Zach celebrates his Senior Night — his final Idaho Vandals football game — we want to give Dan a moment he’ll never forget. It’s hard to imagine this chapter ending without doing something special for the man who made every game feel like a family reunion.

Our goal is to raise $2,000 to surprise Dan with a brand-new set of golf clubs — a well-deserved gift for someone who’s spent years giving so much to others. Dan’s been playing with a mismatched used set for over 30 years, and it’s time he had something that’s truly his own.
