It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brittony (Toni) Carriedo Matson- Loved daughter, wife, sister, mother and friend. Brittony (Toni) tragically lost her life after a sudden and severe infection that spread throughout her body. Despite undergoing heart surgery to replace an infected heart valve, the damage was too extensive and beyond repair. She passed away August 7th 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Brittony (Toni) was fierce, feisty, stubborn, and full of fire. She met life head-on, loved deeply and with all her heart. Especially when it came to her beautiful kids, Addyson, Talyn, Dexton and step son Matthew. They were her heart, her purpose and the reason behind her fiercest strength.

This loss has left a deep hole in our family and are now facing the sudden burden of funeral and medical expenses. We are creating this GoFundMe in the hope that friends, family and community members who knew and loved Brittony (Toni) can come together to support her family. Any donation and share of this fundraiser is deeply appreciated. 

In light of this tragedy, she was able to donate some of her organs to help save lives. Her body will be cremated and we will plan a celebration of life for her in September 2025.
