Join us in celebrating the incredible life of Bemmie during the Krewe of Chewbacchus parade in New Orleans! Together with Mel and Bruce, Bemmie’s parents, we’re creating a memorable and inclusive experience in honor of Bemmie. ️‍️‍⚧️

What is Krewe de Chew?

The Krewe of Chewbacchus is a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras walking parade celebrating science fiction, fantasy, and creativity. It takes place on February 1, 2025, and we’re building a float and subkrewe, “The Bemmies,” to honor Bemmie.

How You Can Support

We’re raising $4,000 to cover:

Golf carts for those who can’t walk: $1,200

Beads and throws: $740

T-shirts: $1,049

Lighting: $150

Float costs: $600

Custom Bemmie cups: $126

Any remaining funds will be donated to LANFest, a nonprofit that builds gaming communities and supports local charities—selected by Mel, Bemmie’s mother.
