Eagle Scout Project for Allentown-Upper Freehold Baseball and Softball League

Hi, my name is Ryan and I am raising funds to complete my Eagle Scout Project. I have been involved with Scouting since first grade and now I am a Life Scout with Troop 91, working towards achieving Eagle Scout. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest rank available to scouts and only five percent ever complete these requirements.

For the Eagle Scout project, the requirement is that I plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, school, or my community. The project must benefit an organization other than Scouting America (BSA). I have decided to use my project to benefit the Allentown-Upper Freehold Baseball and Softball League.

The League’s All-Star program has enjoyed a lot of success in recent years. The baseball and softball all-star teams have won numerous championships, but the League does not have anywhere permanent to display these banners. My project will involve building championship signposts at Byron Johnson Park in Allentown, NJ, along the walkways of the baseball and softball fields. These signposts will commemorate the championships won by past teams and provide space for future championships. This project aims to honor the legacy of our community's athletes and inspire future ballplayers.

I am seeking support to fund the materials and tools needed for construction. Please donate if you are able, any donations are greatly appreciated! If there are any extra funds received that are not used for the project, they will be donated to the Allentown-Upper Freehold Baseball and Softball League.
