Dear Friends,

I wanted to share with you that my family is going through a challenging time. My mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts. She will be undergoing radiotherapy, and her surgery is scheduled for April 24th. I’ll be flying to Canada the day before to be with her during this time, and while I wish I could stay longer, I also have my family here who needs me.

Since I received the news, I haven’t been able to sleep well. Being so far away from her makes me feel helpless, and all I want is to be there to support her in every way possible. I’ve been thinking about how I can offer my parents peace of mind and allow my mum to focus on her recovery without worrying about anything else. That’s when I came up with the idea of making a difference in their lives by reaching out to you.

To help my parents during this time, I’d like to offer my family's favourite honey cake in exchange for donations. The size of the donation doesn’t matter—what truly matters is your support and kindness during this difficult period.
