Homeowner Rights Defense at Signal Butte Ranch

Our community, Signal Butte Ranch, has been suffering under the weight of an abusive management company and an illegitimate board for far too long. Our rights have been trampled, our voices silenced, and our community's well-being jeopardized. It's time for us to stand up and take back our rights as homeowners for the well-being of our community.

We are raising funds to establish a legal defense fund to protect our community from further abuse and mismanagement. Your support will enable us to hire legal counsel, cover court fees, and pursue any necessary legal action to hold the management company and the illegal board accountable for their actions.

For years, our community has faced numerous challenges, including a lack of valid board elections, an inadequate board size, denied access to financial records, refusal of a recall election, breach of contract, inappropriate allocation of transfer fees, permission issues with automatic clearing house (ACH) payments, and unannounced management company switches. These issues have persisted for far too long, and our community has been left struggling to maintain our desired standards of living.

We recently held our own elections to establish a legally recognized board, as confirmed by the Arizona Corporation Commission. This new board is committed to addressing the longstanding issues that have plagued our community. However, without a strong legal defense fund, we may continue to face challenges and struggle to protect our community from further abuse.

No contribution is too small, and every dollar will make a difference in our fight for justice. We are grateful for any support you can provide, whether it be a donation, sharing our campaign with others, or offering words of encouragement.

We want to be transparent about the costs involved in this legal battle. We have secured an experienced attorney who specializes in community association law to represent us. The initial retainer required to engage their services is $5,000. This will allow us to initiate legal proceedings and cover preliminary costs.

However, it is important to note that the total legal costs we expect to incur are likely between $10,000 and $25,000. This range accounts for various factors such as court fees, additional legal services, and potential settlement negotiations. We understand that this is a significant sum, but we believe it is necessary to properly defend our community and ensure a just outcome.
