- I am creating this gofund me in complete desperation, and in need of some immediate help for my family and myself. we are a low income family of 4. our family consists of 2 elderly adults, my disabled daughter and myself. back in March 2024 our family was suddenly and unexpectedly uprooted when our home of 22 years was silently sold right out from underneath us. we were given 6 hours to get a U-Haul and gather any and all of our life long belongings. with only 6 hours to do so, over half of our belongings were left behind. after about a month in a half of living in our car and some blessed nights of staying in a hotel we finally got approved for an apartment. we then took out a few loans to be able to pay the move in fees. 8 thousand dollars later we moved in. we have been in our apartment 8 months and now being evicted.. all 3 of us adults work with one recently being fired and disqualified to receive unemployment benefits, until recently when the decision was appealed and overturned by the judge. which we are completely thankful for, but during that period of time we wasnt able to pay rent... and where we live they do not accept partial. payments. with the holidays approaching all we all ask for is to be able to stay in our home. please help us so we don't I don't have to
