Homeless Veterans Charity PC Build
Homelessness is an epidemic across our country, especially among our veterans. As a veteran in the DC area, its beyond disheartening to see so many fellow veterans living on the streets in our nations capital region, so I've decided to try and help.
In conjunction with an amazing local artist Peter Frechette, we are building a custom PC themed after the World War 2 P40 Flying Tiger that is to be auctioned off to benefit homeless veterans. The response from the PC community on the project thus far has been amazing, with close to 14 thousand cumulative upvotes on reddit alone. We plan to donate 50% of the proceeds directly to the Disabled American Veterans organization and utilize the remaining 50% by taking to the streets to directly help homeless vets in need with a food, clothing or whatever they express their immediate need is and letting them know, they are not forgotten.
If you'd like to see this project come to fruition and bring awareness to the issue we would greatly appreciate your help. Any additional funds received above the cost of the build will go directly to help homeless veterans.
Thank you.
Here are a few progress pictures of the build thus far, but its far from finished. We want to save the best for final unveiling.
