Homeless teens graduating HighSchool
Donation protected
With over 1.7 million homeless teens in the U.S. according to the urban institute we have a problem. These are children that battling major adversities and limitations. On April 28th we are celebrating the graduation of some very special teens in Polk county who are going through homelessness and poverty but still mustered the courage to finish High school and we would love to show them that the community is proud and support them for doing the right thing “graduating high school “ during a bad time. This is a direct way of assisting these teens.
We would like to collect funds that we can distribute in the form of gift cards to help them start their new life. There will be about 80 teens that will receive these funds and we will let them know that the community did this for them. Like the old saying goes “ it takes a village to raise a kid “ so let’s be the village for them. Thank you for the help as all support will all go to them directly.
