At age 71 Mimi Daniels is Homeless after fatal fire

In 2020, Mimi was diagnosed with malignant ovarian cancer. After surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation for the past five years, she was told last week that her insurance would no longer pay for further treatments.

On January 17, 2025, while she was away from home for the night, Mimi's only sibling was burned up in their family home of seventy-one years. The house was 150 years old and was not insured. Mimi is devastated by the death of her brother, but the fire left her homeless.
