Hi, my name is Michael and I’m raising funds for my sister Cynthia, who’s going through a really tough time right now.

Cynthia recently lost her job and has been doing everything she can to stay afloat. She’s been living in an extended stay motel, which needs to be paid for bi-weekly. They’re covered through this Monday. On top of that, her car broke down. The alternator went out. She tried to replace it herself with one from Amazon, but it didn’t fit. A new one from the auto parts store is over $200, and that doesn’t include the cost of getting a mechanic to install it.

Without a working car, she can’t DoorDash or do anything else to earn money while job hunting. She has interviews lined up but hasn’t landed a job yet. Right now, she’s facing being both homeless and without transportation.

I’m helping as much as I can, but I’m limited in how much support I can give. That’s why I’m reaching out here. Anything you can give will go directly toward helping her get her car fixed and cover a little more time at the extended stay while she finds work.
