I’m doing this because I know exactly how easy it is for people to be forgotten.

Andre is someone I met during my own time in addiction. We shared the same kind of days, the same struggles, the same feeling of being written off by the world. The difference is, I managed to get out. Andre is still fighting his way through.

He’s in recovery. He’s trying. But right now, he’s living in a garage with no proper cooking facilities, no washing facilities, no comfort, no dignity. Just surviving day to day. And anyone who’s ever tried to stay clean knows how much harder that is when you’ve got nowhere safe to rest your head.

I’m not trying to raise thousands. I’m trying to raise £150.

Just enough to get Andre a couple of nights in a hotel. A warm bed. A hot shower. A chance to reset, breathe, and feel human again. If we raise more, every single penny will go towards helping him stay safe and supported while he keeps choosing recovery.

I’ve been where Andre is. I know how close the edge is when life feels this unstable. Sometimes, a small bit of comfort can be the thing that stops someone giving up.

I will personally make sure the money goes exactly where it’s meant to. This isn’t about charity for charity’s sake, it’s about one human helping another when the system doesn’t show up.
