Help us build a new house and pond for our heritage breed Rouen ducks!
Gore Place is a National Historic Landmark and a beloved community resource in Greater Boston — 50 acres of open space and a historic working farm, free and open to the public all year round. Because we never charge admission, support like yours is what keeps the farm running. Visitors can meet heritage breeds like Dominique hens, Leicester Longwool sheep, and our Rouen ducks, and every year we welcome local 3rd graders for hands-on tours of 19th-century farm life.
Our Rouen ducks are flightless, which makes them especially vulnerable to predators. Your gift will help our Farmer build them a proper home: a spacious shed, a pond, and a predator-proof fence to keep them safe.
Join us in growing our historic working farm! Every dollar brings us closer to giving these ducks — and generations of future visitors — a place to thrive. Thank you for your support!
