Home inspector David Teare assaulted at gunpoint

Hello Real Estate Community,

We recently found out that David Teare, a valued home inspector in our community, was held up at gunpoint. David pleaded that they only take his personal belongings and leave his vehicle, but was pistol-whipped and had his vehicle and all his equipment taken including his computer, camera, phone, wallet, etc. Luckily David is on the mend and his truck was recovered, but in very poor condition and without any of his equipment. Our team has been working with David for well over a decade and he has come to our and our clients' aid time and time again supporting us in our real estate business. We are sure many of you share our love for him as an inspector and/or benefitted from his well-written reports in disclosure packets.

We felt that this was an opportunity to support him and make sure he knew how much not only our team, but the East Bay real estate community, values him as a member and help him get back on his feet and replace his stolen equipment. Please join us in this endeavor.
